Hello my lovelies!
Sorry I’ve been gone for a while. I know I always say this, but yes, life has been unbelievably busy. And I know I should be more organized, but I just feel like I have too much on my plate, with grad school, work, family, friends, and other commitments. Also, blogging has kind of fell apart for me because it was becoming too much work.
I feel like episode by episode reviews of every kdrama I watch just take up too much of my time. Also, I stopped enjoying the shows I was watching, because I spent so much time screenshotting scenes to include in my posts, that I didn’t get to fully absorb what was going on. Then I’d have to look through hundreds of screenshots and pick the best ones, and then analyze the whole episode (I write A LOT) and then I’d usually come back the next day or a few days later and edit the whole thing. And doing that for every episode was slowing me down. Sometimes I would start the next episode before publishing the post for the previous episode, and then I’d just get all confused about the episodes. I had so many drafts saved and no time to edit or finish them. And editing took me like an hour or longer, because my posts were humongous. So blogging just kind of fell apart, and it stopped being a fun thing for me.
However, I don’t want to give up on this blog. I love watching kdramas, and discussing them with others. So my solution is to just review each drama after watching it, in one post. What do you guys think? I think this will allow me to talk about more dramas, and also save me a lot of time! 😀
I’m also working on a Kdrama Master Post where I’ll be mentioning every kdrama I’ve ever watched, and categorizing them into various lists, like the really good dramas, and the not so good ones. So anyone looking for a drama to watch can look through the list, and click on any drama for another more in-depth post. Can’t wait to start my new blogging format! Yayyy!
Anyways, thanks for reading my rambling (if you’re still here). I’ll see you soon in dramaland!
